Sharnez Pearson Edexcel
Sharnez was preparing for his Pearson Edexcel IAS exams in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Pure Mathematics. He is highly capable, but as a neurodivergent learner he is sensitive to pressure and unpredictability. Traditional exam preparation methods were increasing stress rather than improving performance.
We designed a structured 40 lesson system with 10 lessons per subject, built around clarity, routine and controlled progression. Every lesson followed the same predictable format so nothing felt chaotic or overwhelming. Complex topics were broken into clear stages, calculations were trained step by step to protect method marks, and exam timing was introduced gradually to build confidence.
Rather than rushing through content, we focused on structured thinking, examiner familiarity and measurable progress. Sharnez improved his method accuracy, reduced exam anxiety and developed calm control in timed conditions.
This project shows how the right structure can improve both results and confidence for neurodivergent learners.
